Fashion Dimes: The Best Women's Golf Looks of 2025

The 10 biggest style moments in women's golf that got us talking.

My biggest takeaway from the current landscape in women's golf style is that there's a very active and conscious effort to be more personal. Fashion is inherently idiosyncratic, but with sports there's this strong focus to create uniformity. Golf is free of that boundary by being an individual sport and yet—since the mid 2000s and into the 2010s—we've seen players on all levels follow this very formulaic approach to building their looks.

A polo and a pair of pants...truly riveting stuff, but for women, there's more to the equation.

The conversation around on-course fashion has always been a little more nuanced. Each era of women's golf, especially on the professional level, has mirrored societal shifts. In the 50s and 60s, around the time of the establishment of the LPGA, skirt hemlines crept higher and higher as the bodily autonomy of women grew. The same level of modesty wasn't needed, and well, when you're walking up and down and course during competition is tricky to do so in an ankle-length skirt or dress.

During the 70s and 80s, women were embracing pants and trousers. The 90s and into the 21st century saw the foray into performance fabrics and maximizing player mobility. How something looked, mattered slightly less than how it endured the elements.

Now, as we close out 2025, women in golf stand at this unusual crossroad. Brands are recognizing our buying power, and we aren't an afterthought anymore. We have more options of what we can golf in now more than ever before, and yet, there's a long way to go in terms of how fashion and functionality really can coexist for us. Despite that, I'm seeing more and more women do their best to take a stab at how to navigate this new territory.

Finding balance between what's trending, while also creating a timeless capsule wardrobe that's easy, repeatable, and uniquely personal has been the overwhelming theme this year in women's golf. On the pro circuit, players are leaning into creating "fashion moments" that will transcend into other avenues of pop culture, like we've seen women's basketball, soccer, and hockey do so well over the years.

Slowly but surely, golf too has begun to have those moments. I wouldn't go as far as saying that 2025 was a revolutionary year in women's golf style, but I do believe that the last 12 months and the next 12 are the shift that happens before the big thing.

Here are the 10 women's style moments from the year that stood out and got the golf world talking.

Nelly Korda: AIG Women's Open

For the past two years people have been asking, "is Nike Golf back?" and I don't know if this look is proof of life, or just a great example golf being the ultimate lifestyle sport because outside of her shoes, Nelly Korda was rocking a full on "not for golf" fit at the final women's major of the year.

I mean let's really get into it. The camo pants. The color coordination. It's simple, and yet so effective.

The outfit is balanced, the crop of the jacket hits just right onto the top of the pants, that also fit Korda's tall stature so, so well. It's sporty, with a touch of streetwear and it just worked.

And this wasn't the only major moment the world No. 2 had—last month her Player Exclusive shoes with Nike hit the market and sparked even more chatter across the golf social sphere. Gifting the kicks to Caitlin Clark and LeBron James, your favorite athlete's favorite athlete is Nelly.

I really hope we get to see more style moments from Korda as she continues to evolve into women's golf's most recognizable figure. It's evident that she makes very conscious and intentional style choices and to see more of that side of her will only help bridge the gap of our game being ingrained in bigger, deeper mainstream chatter.

Ina Kim-Schaad: U.S. Women's Mid Am

This is undoubtably my favorite golf style moment of 2025, full stop.

Ina Kim-Schaad single-handedly reignited my adoration for pinstriped pants. I mean everything is just so damn good. From the top-knot bun resting perfectly on her head to the Nike Air Jordans on her feet, adding a touch of retro chic to a very classic look—this was a masterclass in personal style.

To take it a step further, to see an everyday woman make such a statement through her clothing was so refreshing. Though deeply engrained in the golf world as a mental coach, Kim-Schaad isn't playing every week on the LPGA and it should be a reminder that tastemakers don't always have the biggest platform but they create disruption no matter where they are.

Gigi Stoll: The Entire Season

She basically did the work for me, already curating a dump of some of her best looks. Gigi Stoll was the first pro player I knew who repped Malbon. And I'm talking pre-Jason Day era.

Stoll's position as one of the brand's women's golf ambassadors is a special one—she's hardly wears Malbon Women's, she's throwing fits from the men's collection and looks damn good. Her swag is one of one. She doesn't shy away from color or prints. She usually goes for the baggy-yet-structured type of fit. And she's a wonderful example of what contemporary women's golf apparel can look like.

The 29-year-old doesn't look like anyone else on the Tour and she's a wonderful reminder that personal style is exactly that. She owns who she is and speaks through her fashion—and more players, both men and women, could lean into what Stoll is doing.

Pauline Roussin-Bouchard: Amundi Evian Championship

Usually black and yellow is a tough color combination for me to get behind, but this little number from Pauline Roussin-Bouchard at the Evian Championship kind of won me over. I loved seeing a pro in a piece of clothing that's currently hanging in my closet.

Fore All took a leap into women's professional golf and having a young, fiery player like Roussin-Bouchard is the perfect collab.

The knit sweater layered over a yellow polo, just barely peeking over the collar, was tastefully well done. To take it a step further, I loved that she paired it with simple black shorts. It's nothing dramatic, it's clean and simple and looked really, really nice on her.

Linn Grant: Chevron Championship

Cool girl Linn Grant brought some Originals flair to the first women's major of the year. After fellow adidas ambassador Ludvig Åberg rocked the new adidas Golf Originals at this year's Masters Tournament, it was Grant's turn to show off at Chevron.

Each day she debuted her scripting with fun little Instagram fit checks allowing us to see the heritage collection in motion before her rounds.

Miyu Yamashita: Founders Cup

It was difficult to choose just one look from the 2025 LPGA Rookie of the Year—because every single week the fits just got better and better. But this all-white number really stood out for me. It's just so clean and polished but still has elements of fun. The knit sweater with contrasting details helps to keep the look from being to monotonous.

Unfortunately for us here in the States, Yamashita rocks New Balance Japan, which has more offerings for golf than our version of NB. She rocks it better than anyone and we should all just be grateful that yet another player is being bold with her styling decisions and blessing us with incredible inspo.

Similarly to Nelly and Nike, these bigger sport and lifestyle brands have a whole rolodex of styles on the table that aren't made for golf, but if styled appropriately, they totally look and function for the game. And while we can't tap into NB Japan (yet), don't be afraid to get creative!

Ana Pelaez: Saudi Ladies International

Ana Pelaez damn near broke the internet with this look.

This was another favorite of mine from the year. The baggy cargoes cuffed at the hem. The slightly cropped sweatshirt. The black and gray tonal color palette—this is one of the coolest looks I've seen in recent memory and feels a bit like a throwback to when sense of style in golf wasn't so homogenous and players embraced a wild concept called tailoring.

Pelaez is an ambassador for Spanish activewear brand called OYSHO and though I couldn't find her exact look—I was able to track down a chic pair of cargo pants that have that utility look to them while still looking feminine and flattering.

Nataliya Guseva: U.S. Women's Open

nataliya guseva.jpg

I was unfamiliar with her (style) game until this moment. As one of the other faces of Malbon on the LPGA, the 22-year-old Russian golfer leans into the "fore her" offerings of the brand, and mixes pieces incredibly well.

She is not an outfit repeater. While some players stick to a more uniformed look (i.e. they usually wear a polo and a skirt), Guseva takes a more varied approach, rotating through the Malbon catalogue. Some rounds she may be rocking shorts, in others she's wearing a pleated skirt, she's not afraid to shake things up, especially on the Tour's biggest stages.

Her first round look at the U.S. Women's Open at Erin Hills lives in my mind rent free. The pants are nothing short of a thing of beauty and she styled them expertly. A printed bottom is always a bold move, but a printed bottom in a chartreuse-y greenish yellow is next level. This was a masterclass on how to dress around statement pieces.

Malbon Golf Women's Nora Pant

A cheeky little summer time golf pant. Though cream-colored neutrals pair well with them, I'd love to see you be a little daring and find that sweet spot of bringing in something bold, yet complementary.

Celine Boutier: Mizuho Americas Open

It only makes sense that the winningest French golfer teams up with the iconic French brand that has revolutionized the way people think about and style polos. Lacoste is known for its tennis collections and lifestyle pieces, and it's slowly making up ground in the golf space, especially with women's golf apparel.

Boutier's quiet on course demeanor translates to her style. It's subtle, often sporting shades of blue with hints of green and other neutrals at times. She keeps it simple, and it works for her.

This layered moment from Mizuho still clouds my mind. Perfect for a chilly morning round, and the hem detailing is a work of art.

I'll always love a good layering piece, especially a heritage-esque sweatshirt with detailing that makes for a more structured look. The signature Lacoste green and cream screams Wimbledon, and Boutier styled it perfectly for the links.

Best Off-Course Looks: Lily Muni He and The Iwai Twins

Next year I hope that my style recap can include more off-course moments because it's these instances that allow us to see golfers in a different light. And there's no one better at serving the greater fashion community than LPGA star Lily Muni He.

Outside of being an elite professional athlete, Muni He also lives the glamorous life of being a Formula 1 W.A.G., strutting around the paddock in archival Roberto Cavalli.

Related: From the Archives to Front Pages, Lily Muni He is Golf's Fashion Girlie

If you're not tapped into the realm of high fashion houses, know that it's the equivalent to her using the Scotty Cameron putter Tiger used to win 14 of his 15 majors with. A designer's archive is like their very own mausoleum—a resting place for their creations.

And Muni He was a complete vision in this dress.

The other off-course look I can't stop obsessing over is really a two-for-one deal. The Iwai twins stole the show at this year's Rolex LPGA Awards, easily winning the best-dressed award.

Chisato (on the right) opted for a shiny, emerald green mini jacket with a stunning pair of pleated pants. Meanwhile her twin, Akie matched her energy with a gorgeous green three-piece suit.

Mel Reid and I gushed over the twins and their outfits on her podcast Quiet Please with Mel and Kira.

Each and every one of these women knocked it out of the park, and now I just want more of it in 2026.
