Gone are the days of retiring our knitwear as soon as spring hits and reserving them only for the fall/winter months. Fashion is so intelligent these days, and smarter designs means you can get more use out of the things you wear. From vests to chic skirts—knitwear is buildable.
The pros are embracing knit, so why aren't you?
Even in the heat, layering is your friend. Creating depth, texture and bits of fun within your look is the very best way to embrace the vibrance of summertime.

The fabric, known for its distinct loops, is inherently airy—meaning that these pieces are free-flowing and able to move with you as you brave the heat while also making sure you won't overheat.

A.PUTNAM Crochet Sleeveless Top
This is a brand that continues to nail its knitwear season after season. They've masterfully curated pieces that are cooling and breathable but not sheer, so you can remain on-course appropriate. This crochet number has become a steady favorite in our early-summer rotation.

Adidas Women's Ultimate365+ Stripe Knit Polo
This was one product that I needed to see up-close and in-person because it just didn't do it for me online, but I can confirm that this very classic looking polo is a nod to traditionalism, but the knit adds a bit of texture for a more modish feel.

Fore All Rosewood Knit Dress
This is perhaps Fore All's most-underrated design. In collaboration with Cynthia Rowley, they released a very muted, earth-toned knit dress highlighted by its dropped waist. It feels so unexpected from the very whimsical brand and but it just works for this time of year. The straps are a bit thin, so if you're playing at a course with a stricter dress-code just be mindful of your shoulders and bring something to layer over.

J.Crew Cashmere Pointelle Button-Up Short-Sleeve Cardigan

Malbon Mikayla Knit Polo
Malbon's signature cropped polo has become one of my favorites due to just how wearable it is. The soft wool and cashmere blend makes it ridiculously comfortable, and the classic almost retro look gives it this easy-going, wear-it-with-anything vibe.

Nike/Jordan Flight Women's Open Knit Skirt
For a touch of street-style flair, this Jordan Brand skirt (emphasis on skirt because they are no shorts built in) is a fun little option to throw into the mix this summer. It's more fitted so the move is to definitely style it with something more baggy and over-sized.
