Five majors, five big-time moments.

It goes without saying that the 2025 LPGA season was a historic one.

How could it not be? Celebrating 75 years since its establishment, a record-breaking number of different winners, and of course, on women's golf's biggest stages, delivering moments that we're still talking about months later.

Each of the five majors brings something different to the table.

Chevron is gaining its legs with a new course venue down in Texas. The U.S. Women's Open was contested at Erin Hills for the very first time. The Women's PGA Championship also saw another new venue and put players to the ultimate test with its set up. Tucked alongside the French Alps, Evian delivers the most epic views with every passing year. And AIG continues to show us why links golf is superior.

These are the best moments/storylines from the 2025 LPGA majors.

Chevron Championship: Nelly Korda on Cut Watch

There was a lot riding on Nelly Korda at the year's first major of the season. At the time she was world No. 1 and the defending champion. Not to mention by Chevron last year, she had already four wins.

It was a much different story this time around and we saw a rather uncharacteristic, stumbling start from the usually error-less Korda. She opened with a first round 77 and had her back against the wall, battling back just to make the weekend, let alone have a shot at defending her title.

Watching one of the best golfers in the world fight to make a cut is nothing short of a cinematic experience. They prove to you exactly why they are the best, digging deeper than any of us could imagine.

I vividly remember watching the broadcast coverage and seeing Korda's sigh of relief once her final putt dropped to make the cut right on the number. That told me exactly what the moment meant for her. Whether if it's for another major title or just to see another day of competition, every shot matters on the highest level.

Honorable Mention: The Five-Player Playoff

It was a record-setting number of players in a major championship playoff, and watching the scenes unfold looked a lot like the Squid Games, with each contestant eliminating themselves one by one until there was one woman left standing.

U.S. Women's Open: Amari Avery's Unintentional Equipment Change

Not to make light of what was a very scary situation, but Amari Avery competing with borrowed clubs at the USWO was so badass.

To refresh your memory, Avery and her family were staying at an Airbnb in Milwaukee during the week but their was an attempted break in that lead them to move housing locations. Somewhere in the process Avery's boyfriend ended up taking her clubs with him back to Arizona, leaving her use her friend Gabi Ruffels' clubs and she made the cut.

KPMG Women's PGA Championship: Minjee Lee Conquers Frisco

We were all expecting Erin Hills to be the course to cause the best in the world grief, but Fields Ranch East's debut as a major championship venue nearly outshined the winning moment.

En route to her third major, Minjee Lee had to overcome a few obstacles—including a very difficult course set up.

But Lee stayed focused, edging Auston Kim and two-time LPGA Tour winner Chanettee Wannasaen, who were chasing her down during the final round, capturing her first win in two years by three shots. They were the only three players to end the week under par.

Amundi Evian Championship: Grace Kim's Playoff Triumph

I won't say too much about this, other than the fact that this was by far my favorite finish to a golf tournament all year.

Grace Kim rose to the occasion and hit some of the best golf shots I've ever seen, at the perfect moments. Let us rejoice in how incredible she was going up against world No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul.

AIG Women's Open: Darcey Harry, The Hometown Hero

LET rookie Darcey Harry had a storybook week at the final major of the season, making her AIG debut at the course she's a member at! Royal Porthcawl was a stunning setting for the Tour's annual voyage across the pond.

Before the week started, I got to catch up with the 22-year-old and her excitement was palpable—it was hard not to root for her—and she dished on the need-to-know course details for viewers at home.

The Welsh golfer made the cut in front of her home crowd with her boyfriend and DP World Tour player Jacob Skov Olesen on the bag—the script couldn't have been written any better.
