EVANS, Ga. — In case you missed it, the LPGA Tour is back at Shadow Creek but for a brand new event.

The beloved T-Mobile Match Play, the only LPGA event with that unique bracket style format, is no longer on the schedule. Instead, Commissioner inked a deal with the Ladies European Tour and Golf Saudi to create a new championship that keeps the women at one of the most premier venues in our game.

Back in November, Kessler told Skratch that this event was a huge deal for him to secure. "This partnership is very important to us. We've been in a joint venture and a partnership with the Ladies European Tour for a while, and they've worked collaboratively with Golf Saudi for quite a while."

Since 2020, the LET has worked with the PIF to create a series of events with bolstered prize purses for players. Over the years, Aramco series events have attracted some of the top talent including Nelly Korda, Lexi Thompson and Charley Hull—and this week's event is no different.

"What an opportunity for us to try and unite at least a large portion of the women's golf ecosystem. We're really excited to see where this takes us," said Kessler.

Now that the week is finally here, you have to applaud the Tour and the players for leaning in and making this week a memorable one. The entire top-20 in the Rolex Rankings is set to tee it up at Shadow Creek, but the blockbuster group to watch is the threesome of Nelly and Jessica Korda, and Charley Hull.
