When my birthday rolls around, I usually hit a bucket of balls and splurge on an ice-cream cake. I think it’s safe to say that Tiger Woods is doing a little more than that to celebrate his 50th.
According to Front Office Sports, which spoke with TGR Foundation CEO Cyndi Court, Tiger’s birthday bash is going to feature a performance from Jon Bon Jovi, a guest list of 300 that includes Justin Thomas, Joe LaCava, Michael Strahan, and Arthur Blank, and a menu comprised of items from Tiger’s five Masters Champions Dinners. Oh, and to top it all off, the dress code is simple: wear a touch of red.

“It’s a lot more than a birthday party, and it’s a lot more than an event,” Court told FOS. “It’s an event that’s culminating a year of work, and then launching a year of hard work going forward, and what we’re going to do as we expand and grow.”
The party, scheduled for January 14 at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida, will serve as both a birthday party and 30-year anniversary celebration for Tiger’s TGR Foundation. TGR has a fundraising goal of $50 million, and that money will support the expansion of TGR Learning Labs.
