Bodycam Footage of Tiger Woods’ Arrest has Been Released

Now, almost a week removed from the incident, bodycam footage of Tiger Woods’ arrest following his car accident was released on Thursday.

“I looked down at my phone, and all of a sudden, boom,” Tiger told the officer as he described what happened in the moments leading up to him rolling his car.

On Tuesday, Tiger announced that he would be stepping away from golf to prioritize recovery, health, and personal well-being. He won’t be at Augusta National next week, and on Wednesday, the PGA of America confirmed that Tiger will not be the U.S. Ryder Cup captain for the 2027 edition at Adare Manor.

Golf will no doubt miss Tiger while he's away, but getting the help he needs is more important than this game will ever be.
