This week, the PGA TOUR is headed to Canada for the RBC Canadian Open at the newly renovated TPC Toronto (it should really be called "TPC well-north of Toronto" but I understand the name for branding purposes). The defending champ is Robert MacIntyre, but TPC Toronto is a lot different than the Harry Colt-designed Hamilton Golf & CC where he won last year. It's going to be an interesting watch, and with a jump in my step, I’m very excited to attend this week, so stay tuned for lots of coverage.
But before we get to Canada, we have to talk about the just-passed U.S. Women’s Open at Erin Hills won by Maja Stark, and the Memorial won by (you won’t believe it) Scottie Scheffler.

Let's start with Scottie's clubs because he hasn't changed since he won a couple of weeks ago at Quail Hollow. The most curious thing to follow now is that Scottie looks to have committed fully to the new 7-wood, and with the U.S Open on the horizon, plus the Open Championship not long after, if he continues to keep it in the bag.

Maja Stark capped a strong week at Erin Hills Sunday to capture the win, and even with two closing birdies, won by two shots over previously mentioned Nelly Korda and Rio Takeda. The most interesting club in her bag is a Ping G430 Max 10K, a club built right to the USGA limit for MOI and something that likely wasn't designed with tour players in mind. This win from Maja marks the 3rd win in 2025 with this driver, with the other two belonging to breakout star Ben Griffin.
3-Wood - Ping G430 Max (15) Hybrid - Ping G430 (22) Irons - Ping Blueprint S (4-PW) Wedges - Ping S159 (50 & 54 S-Grinds), Vokey SM10 (58 L-Grind) Putter - Ping Anser 2 Ball - Titleist Pro V1
Other changes from the Memorial included Justin Rose adding an R7 Mini Driver, TaylorMade Spider ZT, and finally adding prototype TaylorMade MG (Milled Grind) Proto Wedges 56 S-Grind and 60-Low Bounce grind. Chevron winner Mao Saigo switched to a new Scotty Cameron Studio Style Fastback 1.5 tour proto putter on her way to a T-4 finish.
