When we talk about player dominance (think Scottie, Tiger, Lorena, etc), it should be no surprise to anyone that Nelly Korda has played herself into that conversation.
The 26 year old just hit 100 weeks holding the top spot in the Rolex Rankings, making her the first American and the sixth player to hit the 100 mark joining Jin Young Ko (163), Lorena Ochoa (158), Lydia Ko (125), Yani Tseng (109), and Inbee Park (106).
The first time Korda became Rolex No. 1 was on June 28, 2021. She has reached the No. 1 ranking six times throughout her career, most recently doing so in March of last year after winning the FIR HILLS SERI PAK Championship at Palos Verdes Golf Club in California.

Korda is a 15-time LPGA Tour winner, including two major titles and an Olympic gold in Tokyo 2021. Most notably, she collected seven victories in 2024, joining Kathy Whitworth (the winningest golfer in history), Nancy Lopez, and Beth Daniel as the only Americans to have won seven or more titles in a single season since 1970.
Other Americans who have held the number one seed are Lilia Vu (28 weeks), Stacy Lewis (25), and Cristie Kerr (5).
