This past week, the PGA TOUR was in Connecticut for the Travelers Championshop, while the LPGA Tour was in Texas for the KPMG Women's PGA Championship, and both events ended with a bang. Keegan Bradley birdied the final hole to steal the win from Tommy Fleetwood, and Minjee Lee held off a group of contenders to win her third major. Here's a breakdown of this week in gear.

For the fifth time in the last eight events on the PGA TOUR, Srixon irons have been in the bag of the winner thanks to some back-9 heroics from Keegan Bradley. Like other Srixon staffers, Keegan plays a combo set of irons that feature ZXi5 in his 3-5 irons and ZX7 MKII in his 6-9 irons.
With this win, the big question now is if Keegan will earn his way onto the Ryder Cup team that he will captain in the fall!
Here's a look at everything else in his bag:
Driver: Ping G430 LST
3-Wood: TaylorMade Qi10 (16.5)
7-Wood: TaylorMade Qi35
Irons: Srixon Zxi5 (3-5), Zx7 (6-9), Z-Forged (Pw)
Wedges: Cleveland RTZ Tour Rack
Putter: Odyssey Ai-One Jailbird Cruiser
Ball: Srixon Z-Star Diamond
(Before we get to his gear, let me say that I'm happy for Keegan but feel truly gutted for Tommy)
As for Tommy Fleetwood, he put on a show and almost sealed the deal with a new club in the bag - a TaylorMade R7 Mini driver (Want to learn more? Check it out here: R7 is Back). The club helped him navigate his way around TPC River Highlands and, for the week end up 15th in Strokes gained off the tee. The folks at TaylorMade even made a video earlier this year at Hilton Head when Tommy started testing the newest mini.
It should also be noted that Tommy was also 1st in strokes gained around the green and did that with some TaylorMade prototype MG forged wedges. Although the wedges have yet to be given a proper name or any future release date, TaylorMade has offered the ability to purchase the wedges in limited loft options before they are fully available.
Under tough conditions at the KPMG Women's PGA, it was Minjee Lee who came out on top of a packed leaderboard that also included the likes of Jeeno Thitikul, Hye-Jin Choi, Miyu Yamashita, and Nelly Korda.
Her overall performance was championship worthy, but what stands out for Minjee is her use of an Odyssey Square to Square No. 7 long putter. Although long putters have grown in popularity by quite a margin on the PGA Tour, they’re still nowhere near as common on the LPGA Tour. Another notable winner this year with a long putter is Yealimi Noh, who won the Founders Cup in February.
Here's a look at everything else in her bag:
Driver: Callaway Elyte
3-Wood: Callaway Elyte 3HL
7-Wood: Callaway Elyte
Irons: Callaway X-Forged
Wedges: Callaway Opus 52 S-Grind, 56 C-Grind, 60 T-Grind
Putter: Odyssey Square to Square #7 Broomstick
Ball: Chrome Tour X
Yep, you read that right. The folks at Odyssey who are well known for their putters have reintroduced a new chipper for the first time since 2023.
Although many clubs in this category used to considered a bit of a novelty, equipment manufacturers have been putting a lot of effort into maximizing performance in these niche clubs to help golfers find improvement and Odyssey is no different.
The wide sole which also utilizes a stepped sole design like the new Elyte fairway woods, helps the club glide above the turf to reduce the possibility of chunking it… because there could be no worse feeling in golf than chunking a chip from short range.
It will come in mens and womens specific specs, will be priced at $180, and will hit store shelves on July 27.
There’s golf and there’s long drive, and they’re about as similar to each other as putt-putt and the PGA Tour. And, because of the unique forces applied to a club head when it hits a golf ball at well over 150 MPH, you need a pretty darn specific driver head suited for the task.
This is where the new Cobra DS Apapt LS Long Drive comes in.
With just 6 degrees of long, and a club head shape that features a progression from the standard DS Adapt LS head to make it extremely aerodynamic, the DS Adapt LS Long Drive is built for any golfer at the top end of the swing speed spectrum who is looking to gain every advantage possible.
Other parts of the design tweaks from the standard DS Adapt LS includes a 2mm deeper face and a front to back length that is shorter by 3mm to help push the center of gravity closer to the face for more ball speed production and lower spin.
Note: The DS Adapt LS Long Drive is being sold as head only and with two Future Fit 33 adapters to allow for multiple shafts options. It's priced at $650 and available now for custom order.
