HOUSTON, Texas— When majors season rolls around, I expect nothing short of some big-time looks from the world's best.
I hate to admit it, but the opening day of the 2026 Chevron Championship left a bit more to be desired. Which is such a shame, considering that once upon a time, the looks at this event were head-turning. I still daydream of Annika Sorenastam's ruby red Nike kicks and Grace Park's Gucci bucket hat.

That said, I must give kudos to Linn Grant (who I've raved about in the past) for serving up something fun for her first major look of the season. The 26-year-old has one of the best golf style portfolios in the game, and her latest might be one of my favorites in recent memory.
During the opening round, the adidas ambassador teed off in the morning wave sporting a simple white cardigan layered over an all black matching top and skort set.

Is it anything crazy? Certainly not but it is a standout in the field for sure.
Lydia Ko and Nelly Korda both went sleeve-less for the first round and are some close favorites, but advantage Grant this time around, who also happens to be T-13 after carding a 2-under-par round of 70.
