Our Favorite Wimbledon-Inspired Golf Looks For Summer

There are few sporting traditions more iconic than Wimbledon whites.
For two weeks every summer, the loudest brands in sports suddenly embrace restraint, trading neon palettes and statement graphics for crisp white polos, pleated skirts, cable-knit sweaters and enough linen to make you consider rebuilding your entire wardrobe. Somehow, the oldest dress code in sports still feels impossibly cool.

And yet, golf has never adopted the all-white mandate, but maybe it should borrow the mood. Few outfits look sharper on a golf course than head-to-toe white, and the overlap between tennis style and golf style has never been stronger.
Of course, every rule has its exception. Because this year, the best-dressed man at Wimbledon wasn't wearing all white at all (though the dress code only applies to competitors participating in the tournament). Two-time Masters champion Rory McIlroy arrived in the one color that can steal the spotlight from tennis's most famous dress code: Augusta National green.
