There is always that moment with a collection. The first look. The gut check. The honest reaction before anything goes live.
When I saw the Spring Summer 2026 lineup from our friends at Sugarloaf Social Club, my exact words were simple. This is the team’s best work to date.
And the more I sat with it, the more that feeling held up.

Nine core pieces, twenty five variations, and it all just makes sense. This is who SSC has always been. Not a version of the brand chasing trends or trying to keep up with the noise across golf right now, but a brand that understands exactly what it is and where it fits.

It is a golf purist brand through and through. Laid back. Welcoming. Charming. Intentional. And this collection puts all of that into clothing in a way that feels natural. You see the charm in the color. You feel the welcoming nature in the hoodies and hats. And you recognize the intentionality in the polos and the Oxford.

Yes, Sugarloaf Social Club sits within the Pro Shop umbrella (Pro Shop is Skratch's parent company). On paper, that makes everything feel connected. Like one big family. But the truth is, they are still their own machine. Building, ideating, creating on their terms. From where I sit, I am close enough to see it early, but still outside enough to know it is real.
This feels like the first true we have resources moment since that acquisition. And they used it the right way. Not to change the brand, but to sharpen it.

The shorts say everything you need to know. I have heard it from Ian more than once. We want to make a short, but we want to make it perfect. That kind of patience shows up here. They did not rush it. And when it finally arrives, it feels right. Clean, wearable, and exactly in line with everything else they do.
There is also something bigger happening around the brand right now. The High Low series, the storytelling around places like Aiken, the way they are positioning golf as something lived, not just played. It all connects back to this collection.
At a time when golf style continues to stretch in every direction, this collection feels grounded. It reminds you that growth does not always mean change. Sometimes it means refining what was already there.
This is Sugarloaf Social Club at its clearest. Laid back, thoughtful, and fully in its lane.
