The Nike Shield Returns to Augusta
A new chapter for an old logo, written on the biggest stage
AUGUSTA, GA — There are certain logos that don’t just show up, they reintroduce themselves. The Nike Shield is one of them.
As Day Two settled into that golden Georgia light, the Swoosh quietly flipped the script. Not louder. Not bigger. Just sharper. Across multiple athletes, the Shield made its return, stitched into polos, and most notably, brought to life through texture.
The palette leaned into that early 2010s Nike Golf energy, muted bases with moments of pop. A reminder of that 2013 era where Nike wasn’t afraid to let performance feel electric.

Then there’s the navy sweater.
Worn by Rory McIlroy and Ethan Fang, it carries that soft structure you don’t typically get from Nike Golf retail.
