The last few weeks have been an absolute grind. The year’s first major championship and the fifth signature event of the season back-to-back. I didn’t play in either and I’m still exhausted.
Good news for the PGA TOUR guys is that this week’s event, the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, is a whole lot more relaxed.
The food, the atmosphere, the vibes. The Zurich is the perfect place to play some golf with a good buddy and decompress in preparation for the next major, the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow from May 15-18.
There are some great two-man teams this year, so we decided to highlight our favorites.

The defending champs. They had to be on the list. My only concern here is they’ll do a little celebrating on Bourbon Street—maybe Rory will even wear the Green Jacket. I don’t know how focused they’ll be on the actual golf, but I do know they’ll vibe their absolute faces off.

Ts and Ps to the broadcasters next week. How the hell are they supposed to tell these two apart when they’re standing next to each other the entire time? That’s gonna be a nightmare. But the grouping is fun! It must be an awesome feeling playing alongside your brother in a PGA TOUR event.

You wanna talk about a dangerous pairing to unleash onto New Orleans? This is it. Beers will be consumed and clothes will be taken off. The boys are here for a good time.

Or do you wanna talk chill? You wanna talk slow-moving, absolute flushers? This is the group for you. Poston and Mitchell might be my early pick to win the whole damn thing.
