The year’s second major championship is almost here, folks.
On Monday, the world of golf will head to Charlotte, North Carolina, for the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow, which traditionally is the annual host of the Truist Championship that was moved to Philadelphia this week. And with everything going on in golf right now, this could be an all-timer.
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler finally got back in the win column last week at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson, Rory McIlroy is playing some of the best golf of his career and has won at Quail four times, Justin Thomas won for the first time since 2022 at the RBC Heritage a few weeks ago and won the PGA the last time it was at Quail, and Jordan Spieth could join McIlroy in the Career Grand Slam club.
Did you get all that? I know it’s a lot.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m going to enjoy the weekend at Philly Cricket, but it’s tough not to get excited about what could go down in less than a week’s time.
With the work week behind us, we thought it was the perfect time to take a look at the betting favorites for the PGA. It’s almost time to make some picks, so let’s dial in.
