We’re still a month and a half from heading to Shinnecock Hills on Long Island for the U.S. Open, but the qualifying process for those hoping to earn a spot is coming up. On Monday, the United States Golf Association posted a list of pro athletes who are set to make a run at the field, and it’s highlighted by former Dallas Cowboy quarterback and current CBS broadcaster, Tony Romo.

Here's a look at where all the guys will play local qualifying:

•Aaron Hicks: Papago Golf Course on May 11 in Phoenix, Arizona

•Tony Romo: Ridgewood Country Club on April 27 in Waco, Texas

•J.T. Miller: Chester Valley Golf Club on May 4 in Malvern, Pennsylvania

•Mardy Fish: Rancho La Quinta Country Club on May 7 in La Quinta, California

•Danny Woodhead: Omaha Country Club on May 6 in Omaha, Nebraska

•Tyler Clippard: Avila Country Club on May 4 in Tampa, Florida

•Drew Olson: Stonebrae Country Club on May 4 in Hayward, California

•Shigetoshi Hasegawa: Brentwood Country Club on May 4 in Los Angeles, California

As a New England Patriots fan, I’m a little biased, but I’ll be pulling for Danny Woodhead. One of the more underrated third-down backs of the 2010s, Woodhead has serious game. Playing out of Omaha Country Club, Danny boasts a +.6 handicap—his low H.I. is +3.7.

As for Romo, he’s no stranger to the links. He won the 2018 American Century Championship, and played in the Corales Puntacana Resort Club and Championship that same year—he missed the cut with rounds of 77-81. Playing out of Dallas National Golf Club, Romo is a +2.5 handicap.

Local qualifying for the U.S. Open began on April 20 and runs through May 18. Final qualifying will run from May 18 to June 8, with the year’s third men’s major championship scheduled for June 18-21.
