If you have plans for Sunday afternoon, cancel them.
On CBS at 2 p.m. ET, we’re getting an exclusive and behind-the-scenes look at Tiger Woods’ historic and record-setting 2000 season.
Based on the trailer, we’ll get interviews from the man himself, Tiger Woods, Butch Harmon, Adam Scott, Ernie Els, Davis Love III, and more.
During his 2000 campaign, Tiger made 20 starts, finished inside the top-25 in every event, grabbed 17 top-10s, earned four silver medals, and won nine times. Those victories included a 15-shot win at the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, an eight-shot win at the Open at St. Andrews, and a playoff win at the PGA Championship. Three of the four major championships were won by Mr. Woods—plus, he finished fifth at the Masters.
Truly and utterly ridiculous.
Last month, LIV Golf’s Bubba Watson said Scottie Scheffler’s 2024 season was better than that. Bubba, I hate to disagree with you, but that’s one of the craziest things I’ve ever heard.
As someone who was just three years old during Tiger’s 2000 season, I can’t wait to watch this deep-dive. I’ll never turn down more Tiger content.
