We’re less than 48 hours away from The Skins Game returning to our television sets. I can picture it now: turkey hangover—maybe a real one, too—posted up on the couch, with a whole day full of nothing but TV time, and it all starts at Panther National.
On Wednesday, Peter Jacobsen, a long-time member of NBC and Golf Channel booths, was added to the broadcast team. He joins Andrew Catalon, Colt Knost, and Skratch’s Dan Rapaport as the on-air talent. Jacobsen’s career with a microphone started at this very event back in the day, so it’s only right that he’s back for the first edition since 2008.
And that wasn’t the only news that dropped on Thanksgiving Eve.
Pro Shop president Chad Mumm released the new intro for The Skins Game, and let me tell you, it’s perfect. I mean, do yourself a favor and watch this bad boy.
Truly as good as it gets.
The coverage from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, kicks off at 9 a.m. ET on Prime Video this Friday, so make sure you set those alarms. It’s going to be a day.
