One of golf’s best broadcasters has been added to the booth for Friday’s Skins Game at Panther National.
Peter Jacobsen, the longtime member of NBC and Golf Channel, will join Andrew Catalon, Colt Knost, and Skratch’s own Dan Rapaport as the on-air talent for the revival of golf’s favorite post-Thanksgiving tradition, only on Prime.
In fact, the seven-time PGA TOUR winner’s career in the booth began at The Skins Game when he was in his mid-twenties and still playing out on TOUR.
Skins Game: Our All-Time Favorite Moments
Jacobsen is no stranger to competing in televised Skins either— in the 2008 Wendy's Champion Skins Game, an alt-shot two-man team event with four teams held at Desert Mountain, he won 12 skins and $360,000 that year alongside Fuzzy Zoeller. The rest of the field included a couple of guys named Watson, Couples, and Nicklaus. His combination of clutch putting and charisma fit the format perfectly.
Coverage of The Skins Game kicks off at 9 a.m. ET on Friday, November 28, exclusively on Prime Video.
