So this rocks.
Michelle Wie West, aka Wiezy, who retired during the 2023 LPGA season will make her competitive golf comeback for WTGL.
The five-time winner is already well-versed in the indoor golf league. "As an investor in Los Angeles Golf Club and a fan of TGL, I’m excited for the chance to compete again through WTGL, which will be a powerful platform for women’s golf," said Wie West in the official announcement.
"I’m passionate about growing the game, and TGL has proved how new formats through the lens of innovation and creativity can bring golf to a broader audience. The team aspect, matched with the unique environment at SoFi Center, is something I want to be part of and it’s going to be incredibly fun to challenge myself, this time alongside teammates, to compete against the best in the world."

With Nelly Korda still not committed, Wie West joining the player line up is the kind of buzz-worthy commitment that the league needs. The 36-year-old is a generational talent, and was once the biggest name in the women's game. Her swing, her talent, and of course her swag, we're all things people loved about Wie West and her presence in the women's game still carries so much weight.
The star will join Jeeno Thitikul, Charley Hull, Lydia Ko, Lottie Woad, Brooke Henderson, Rose Zhang and Lexi Thompson as the confirmed players for WTGL.
