MENLO PARK, Ca. — Man it feels good to be back! It's been nearly six weeks since the LPGA has played an event in the States, and the Tour is back in full force for the 15th edition of the Founders Cup, at an all new venue, with a brand new prize purse.
Let's dig in.

Skratch is on site this week and we're already getting some inside scoop.
Sharon Heights, located just 30 miles outside of San Francisco is a gorgeous, newly renovated track that will be quite the test this week for the world's best. With towering redwood trees tightly lining the fairways, big toothy bunkers that are like magnets for errant shots, and a noticeable lack of a first cut (meaning the short grass bleeds right into the rough)—this will be great watch for those following along in person and at home.
Players are telling us to keep an eye out for the testy par 3s on 4, 8, 13, and 17.
It'll be an insane weekend of competition with seven of the top 10 golfers in the Rolex Rankings in the field, headlined by World No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul who is coming off her most recent win Thailand, and a T-31 finish at her last start at the HSBC Women's World Championship.
There's also quite a few Bay Area locals this week, including defending champion Yealimi Noh and captivating 2026 rookie Natasha Oon. The San Jose State University alum had been rehabbing an injury for the past two seasons and finally gets her LPGA Tour debut in her own backyard.
"It means so much to me to play this week," she said in her press conference earlier this week. "I've always kind of rehashed this in my head when I was going through really tough times. It was such a rocky road. It was a slow climb and tumbling back down, slow climb, tumbling back down. Now I feel like I've kind of seen the top a little bit and I'm just excited to just keep climbing up."
She's one of the most charming and whimsical human beings you'll encounter and her press conference was by far one of the best moments I've had covering golf, like ever. Just watch for yourself.
Oon's an easy one to root for and she should be a player for you to keep an eye on, as well as major-winner and recent Monday qualifier Lee6—who won on the Epson Tour on Sunday in Florida, flew to San Fran later that night to play her way into the field this week...bad ass.
