The newly turned 23-year-old Jeeno Thitikul continues to amaze us all with her talent.
Over the weekend, she collected her 8th LPGA title, her third win in her last five starts (dating back to the Buick LPGA Shanghai in October 2025).
As a bonus fun fact, the World No. 1 matched Tiger Woods with seven wins earned before reaching their “Jordan Year”—the pop-culture milestone for athletes who achieve greatness before turning 23, a nod to Michael Jordan’s iconic jersey number.
En route to victory, Thitikul collected six birdies during her final round, carding a 68, besting Chizzy Iwai by one stroke.
The flatstick was red hot for Thitikul in her home country. On Sunday, she went 13/18 greens in regulation with 28 putts. Her best stats come during Friday's second round, where she went 15/18 greens in regulation and had 25 putts.

But perhaps the coolest stat from the fairytale weekend, was that win this win she and Nelly Korda made history as the first top-two players to win the first two events of the LPGA season, since the establishment of the Rolex Rankings 20 years ago.

This was the first time Thitikul has won on her home country's soil, which means more to her than I think any of us could comprehend. In her winning presser she said, "I would rate it [the win] like A+++ something. I mean, I know it's not that big event like compared to the majors, but like for us, for me, winning in my home country just means a lot to me, sometime more than a major feeling."
