Brooks Koepka is Loading Up His PGA TOUR Schedule

When Brooks Koepka used the Returning Members Program to come back to the PGA TOUR, it was announced that he would play in the Farmers Insurance Open and WM Phoenix Open. Now, a week away from his anticipated return, he’s added another event to his schedule: the Cognizant Classic from February 26-March 1.
Koepka was once a regular at the event formally known as the Honda Classic, playing at PGA National in 2014-2017, 2019-2020, and 2022. His career-best finish came in 2019 when he tied for second with Rickie Fowler, one shot back of winner Keith Mitchell.
The Cognizant Classic is sandwiched between three Signature Events—AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (Feb. 12-15), The Genesis Invitational (Feb. 19-22), and Arnold Palmer Invitational (March 5-8)—so the rest of the field could end up on the weaker side, potentially providing a nice opportunity for Koepka to clip off a win.
Above all else, it feels great to be talking about Koepka making starts on the TOUR again.
