After rounds of even, even, and 2 over at Club de Golf Chapultepec, Bryson DeChambeau withdrew from LIV Golf Mexico City on Sunday. According to his social media statement, DeChambeau started to feel some discomfort in his wrist. His WD is an effort to avoid further injury. DeChambeau wasn’t having a great week south of the border. He was caught complaining about the course conditions, and was also utterly dumbfounded when he missed a short putt—I guess it was the green’s fault his calculation didn’t work. LIV has one event remaining before the PGA Championship at Arnomink from May 14-17—LIV Golf Virginia at Trump National in Washington, D.C., from May 7-10. We’ll have to wait and see if DeChambeau is healthy enough to tee it up in the Capital.
