When it rains, it pours—ask LIV Golf.

On top of everything else going on with LIV at the moment, Bryson DeChambeau was caught complaining on Thursday about the course conditions at the circuit’s Mexico City event, held at Club de Golf Chapultepec.

DeChambeau skulled a shot from a greenside bunker—sand has been his nemesis of late—and when his ball came to rest on the other side of the putting surface, it found a bare area that amateur golfers are all too familiar with—that’s muni life!

LIV, of course, is dealing with some things outside the ropes that make the conditions in Mexico City seem unimportant. Rumors spread earlier in the week that Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund was pulling its funding for LIV. Scott O’Neil, the league’s CEO, said in an interview that LIV is funded through the end of 2026 and they will “work like crazy to create a business plan to keep us going.”

However, the video of that interview has since been deleted—no worries, though, we still have it.

And for the cherry on top, LIV’s broadcast in Mexico was out for two hours on Thursday due to technical difficulties.

So, all in all, things are going well!
