From hockey to football, the guardians of the New York City have always found time to compete against each other. These events give the city's public safety officials a chance to come together, support charity through fundraising—and of course, compete for bragging rights.
And now, golf has officially entered the equation.
Earlier this summer, the inaugural Sentinel Cup was contested at Bethpage Black, the venue of the 2025 Ryder Cup, where officers from the police force and firefighters went head-to-head in a match play style format deciding who's the best on the links.

Skratch was on site to witness the day filled with camaraderie and togetherness.
Decked out in their official team gear, with the assist from TGL's New York Golf Club—this wasn't just your average work golf outing.
