Some of you may have clicked on this article with an obvious answer in your head: Of course I’d rather be a PGA TOUR pro!
But the Vanity Index boys gave it a little thought.
On this week’s episode, Chad Mumm and Wells Adams brought in Pro Shop’s Head of Finance Vinny Gabriele to break down which guy actually has it better off. For the example, they compared Stewart Hagestad, who’s won three U.S. Mid Am titles (2016, 2021, and 2023), played in the U.S. Open and Masters several times (he made the cut at Augusta in 2017), and just last week made his fifth appearance for Team USA at the Walker Cup, and Harry Higgs, a journeyman TOUR pro with 143 starts and seven top-10s under his belt.
After going through it, all the guys came to the same conclusion: they’d rather be Stew.
