It takes a lot of things to go right to win on the PGA Tour, and for Kristoffer Reitan, everything clicked this past week in Charlotte at Quail Hollow, where he went on to win his first-ever signature event, The Truist Championship.
It was a final round filled with ups and downs, but two places where Kristoffer Reitan did not have many issues for the week were off the tee and off the green. He ranks 5th for the week off the tee, gaining 3.363 shots, and was also 2nd for putting with 5.158 strokes gained.

Since it's release, the Ping G440 K had had very steady adoption on the PGA Tour, with multiple in play every week. One of the main reasons for this success is based on the driver head's ability to hold spin stability and ball speed on shots hit around the face. This leads to most consistent carry distance and tighter dispersions - things that all come in handy at the highest level of golf.
For Kristoffer, he uses a 9° G440 K with a Mitsubishi Tensei 1K White 60 TX, and put the driver into play for the first time this week in Charlotte.

As for the putter that helped Kristoffer finish off The Truist in 2nd place on the greens was a Custom PLD Ally Blue, built with a plumbers neck hosel, which like the driver was a new addition to his set this week.
For a lot of golfers who have grown up using blades the plumber neck can help offer the more traditional hosel look from address while also providing better alignment and stability with a mallet head.
It should be said that the plumbers neck can also help some players with alignment because of the amount of offset and natural 90° angles built into it.
It goes to show that whether it be off the tee, or on the greens, a little extra forgiveness can go a long way, and for Kristoffer Reitan, it helped lead him to his first PGA TOUR victory and a cool $3.6 million dollars to go with it.
