How Tri-Force Face works

Quantum Tri-Force driver faces are a combination of three materials: high-strength titanium, Poly Mesh, and Carbon Fiber. These materials, when assembled in that order (the face layer that you see is still titanium), create a reinforced face structure.

Another way to think about it is like plywood. Sure a single solid piece of wood can be strong but thanks to modern engineering, multilayered plywood relative to solid wood is stronger and also more flexible, while also being thinner and lighter. And in many ways thats how Tri-Force works.

When the face compresses at impact the poly-mesh and the carbon fiber load under tension like a spring being stretched. Since Carbon fiber has extremely high tensile strength and anisotropic properties (ok I'll admit I did some extra research to use big words) meaning it has super strong directional strength relative to the parallel direction of the fibers, it rebounds back into shape faster.

Quantum Triple Diamond (Low Spin)
