Options, options, options, everybody wants options. And of all the equipment manufacturers trying to deliver them, Callaway does one of the best jobs in the space between driver and irons. With the Quantum line already featuring four fairway wood models, the addition of the newest Quantum Mini Driver and Ti Fairway woods further expands those options.

By now, you likely understand what mini drivers are all about. A club that offers a secondary option off the tee while also being mostly functional off the ground, depending on the player and the circumstances. In the case of Callaway and all of their previous mini drivers, the focus was on building one of the best secondary options for off the tee because of the larger footprint. Sure, you could hit it off the deck, but it wasn't really for the faint of heart—or slower swing speeds.

This is where the Quantum Mini is different. It looks similar to the previous generation from the top, but flip it over and it’s a different story.
Besides having Tri-Force face tech (see below), the biggest change to the Quantum vs. the previous Elyte is the step sole design that lowers the leading edge and reduces turf interaction. This design feature has been extremely successful across Callaway's lineup of fairway woods and hybrids, and now they've put it into the sole of the mini driver to make it even easier to hit off the deck.
And yes—Tri-Force face is a big part of the story.

Quantum Tri-Force faces combine three materials—high-strength titanium, Poly Mesh, and carbon fiber—which, when layered together (with titanium still as the visible face), create a reinforced structure. It’s kind of like cake, more layers can be better… although that might be a stretch of an analogy, but stay with me.
A better comparison might be plywood. A single piece of wood can be strong, but layered construction is often stronger, more flexible, and lighter—and that’s essentially how Tri-Force works.
When the face compresses at impact, the poly-mesh and carbon fiber load under tension like a spring. Since carbon fiber has extremely high tensile strength and anisotropic properties (yes, I had to look that one up twice today), it rebounds back into shape faster along the fiber direction.

This face system allows for the titanium face with Ai topography to be 14% thinner than the previous generation Elyte, resulting in more speed more often.
The Quantum Mini is available for presale now and will be in stores starting on April 29th. It will come in both right & left handed for both available lofts of 11.5° and 13.5° and is priced at $550

In the world of fairway woods, titanium means one thing: speed, with some added forgiveness thrown in for good measure.
With the new Quantum Ti fairways, you get that speed along with added adjustability, thanks to lighter, stronger titanium freeing up mass for rear weighting. Add in Callaway's OptiFit4 fairway wood adapter and you have a highly customizable club build to help gap the top end of the bag.

This gives the new Ti fairway all of the features of the other Quantum fairway woods, like the step sole and Speed Wave 2.0, but with even more pop and fitting capabilities in the bag.
The new Quantum Ti fairway is perfect for the golfers that are looking for a bomber fairway wood. Maybe higher handicaps, or Tour players, it spans a pretty wide net. It’s our most advanced Ti face, Ti body, TD shape with the Max footprint. Heel-toe weighting for adjustability, you can go from Neutral to Fade bias in terms of where you put that Center of Gravity.
