Now look, I realize I'm not "that old", but I'm no spring chicken either - although I do remember a time when if you wanted to record your golf swing, you needed to drag a VHS camera out to the driving range set it up on a tripod and go back and forth to look at the video shot at 24 frames per second.
(Side note for you youngins out there, a VHS was a reel-to-reel recording device that used tape and allowed you to both record videos and play them back using a VCR, and as much as I'd love to explain that technology - I just don't have time right now)
Anyway, what I'm really trying to get at is that camera and recording technology has come a long way since I was a nerdy golf kid who dragged his dad's huge video camera out to the driving range. Phone technology has come a long way too! We're even to the point where we can record and share high definition video through the air from our phones - what a wonderful time to be alive.
But here's the thing, even if you happen to have one of these fancy phones that allows you to capture high frame rate slow-motion video to check your golf swing or just record shots during our round, there is still one problem - you need something to hold it.
This lightweight, collapsible, and compact monopod is the perfect tool to bring anywhere you're hitting golf balls or playing golf.
It easily fits into a golf bag and can be held up in place with either the removable stake or base (sold separately), and comes with a MagSafe compatible puck so you can attach or remove your phone faster than you can swing a driver.
As for the aforementioned stake - it's no wider than a tee and when stuck into the ground holds the iRangeSports Stick in place without any issue and without damaging turf. It's so low impact you can even use it on a putting green.
Simply line it up, set the height, and start recording. At the weight and size of less than your sand wedge, it fits seamlessly in any size golf bag. (Phone Case NOT included)

BUY NOWSo if you're tired of asking your friends to record your golf swing, or you're tired of being the friend who gets tasked with recording duties, the iRangeSports stick is the perfect companion for your next trip to the course or to the range and I can't recommend it enough.
On a personal note, I've been using an iRangeSports stick since they were originally introduced in 2022, and use it to record all of the lovely videos I shoot in my home workshop, and on the golf course - which gives me the perfect reason to subject you to a short video of me playing golf at Rancho Carlsbad after the greens were punched.
