Charlotte brought the humidity, but players brought the fits. Gone was the uniformity of head-to-toe performance poly. In its place: cotton polos, pleated trousers, camp collars, and just enough flair to keep things interesting.
Footwear leaned fresh-white, with a heavy rotation of runner-inspired silhouettes. Mock necks and tonal looks made appearances. So did bold color-blocking, subtle embroidery, and the rare but welcome nod to texture.
If there was a theme, it was looseness. In styling, in tailoring, in letting a little personality breathe through the uniform. The big question now? When do shorts enter the chat.
