TaylorMade Apparel Gets a Fresh Start with 1985-Inspired Drop

A long-overdue reset for one of golf’s biggest names

TaylorMade’s latest apparel drop feels like a reset… the kind you knew was coming, just didn’t know when. As Sun Day Red continues to expand and find its rhythm, it naturally shifts attention back to it's parent company, TaylorMade, and what TM's identity looks like in this moment.
This collection starts to answer that.
At the center is the return of the ’1985 mark, a small but meaningful nod to the brand’s origins. It shows up across a mix of modern staples and heritage-leaning pieces. Crews, rugbys, tees, and outerwear that feel more considered than what we’ve seen in recent years.
The Field Rugby and First Light Crew lean into that vintage sport feel, while pieces like the Elements Hoodie II still hold onto the performance backbone you expect from a brand rooted in equipment.
And yeah, it’s hard not to think about what a true TaylorMade Japan collection could look like if it ever made its way stateside. That level of refinement still feels a ways off.
But this? This is a step.
