Your Next Favorite Golf Pant Starts Here

Equal parts style and performance, Public Drip's latest Anywhere Pleated Pant rewrites what a golf trouser can be.

I gave these pants a real test run at the PGA Championship in Charlotte—heat, humidity, long walks, dodging ropes—and by the end of the weekend, I knew: Public Drip’s Anywhere Pleated Pant is a winner.

There’s a moment when you put something on and instantly feel like it just fits—not just physically, but contextually. That was this pant for me. It threads the needle between tradition and tech so naturally, it makes you wonder why more golf pants haven’t taken this route.

The first thing that stands out is the pleat. It’s a nod to heritage golf style—the kind you'd see in sepia-toned photos of the early pros—but here, it’s been totally modernized. These don’t wear like costume throwbacks. They’re clean, structured, and somehow relaxed all at once. At first glance, they look like a classic pleated trouser, but under the hood, they’re built for movement.

I’m talking an 88% Nylon / 12% Elastane fabric blend. That’s a slightly stretchier build than the Manors Greenskeeper Chino, which leans 93/7 recycled nylon and has a more rugged hand feel. I still love the Greenskeeper—it’s one of my staples—but the Anywhere pant wears softer, lighter, and feels a touch more refined. Think travel-ready with course-approved pedigree.

Let’s talk features. The waistband is where it starts getting interesting: you’ve got belt loops, an internal drawcord, and elastic at the back. That mix gives you options—wear them loose with a polo tucked in, or lock it down with a belt and button-up for a dressier vibe. The traditional four-point button and zip closure up front is a nice tailored detail, while the dual side zip pockets bring functionality you don’t get from most pleated trousers.

There’s subtlety in the design too. A tonal embroidered logo sits low on the leg, and the stitching around the ankle breaks just right—it’s about a two-inch panel that gives the leg a little structure without making it feel stiff. They taper well. I’m 6'0", 185 lbs, wear a 34, and the fit hits that clean, straight leg silhouette without going full slim.

So yeah, the Greenskeeper from Manors still has a firm spot in my rotation—it's a bit more utilitarian, great for travel days or unpredictable weather—but Public Drip’s Anywhere Pleated is what I’m reaching for when I want to feel sharp without trying too hard. If golf style is heading toward a smarter, more intentional direction, this pant is leading the charge.
