Do You Enjoy Great Beer and Good Vibes? Boy, Do We Have a Spot for You at the Travelers

Are you a beer-loving, golf sicko headed to the Travelers Championship? If so, we have a must-visit spot for you at TPC River Highlands.

It’s tough to beat an ice-cold beer while watching the best players in the world. If you agree—let’s be honest, who wouldn’t?—we have the spot for you at the Travelers Championship.

If you’re planning on coming down to the signature event in Cromwell, Connecticut, the Treehouse Brewing Company Beer Garden is the place to be for the next four days. Now, if you’re not from the area, you probably don’t know of Treehouse. But let me tell you, it’s some of the best beer you’ll ever have.

They have several locations scattered throughout New England, including one in Boston and Sandwich, Massachusetts—better known as Cape Cod. Their Tewksbury location—a place I have spent many a night—even features a nine-hole golf course where you can enjoy a round with your buddies, and then a round with your buddies—see what I did there? And their pizza is unreal, but we’ll table that for now.

Now, the Beer Garden at TPC River Highlands is located right next to the 14th green. But from the deck, you can see the incredible 15th, a driveable par-4, the par-3 16th, and the par-4 17th. As a local, it might sound a little homer-y, but that four-hole stretch is one of the best in golf—and Scottie Scheffler agrees.

But just walking around a little bit Wednesday afternoon, the folks at the Travelers have done an unreal job putting together the build-out this year. The 18th green is completely surrounded by grandstands, and the Fan Zone is loaded with stuff for the kids—and adults, let’s be honest—including a rock climbing wall, a mini golf course, and even a chipping competition tent.

How good is that?

So, for the folks heading down to the Travelers this weekend, trust us when we say, there’s no shortage of fun stuff to do and delicious beverages to enjoy.

But make sure you stop by the Treehouse Beer Garden, you won’t be disappointed.
