Let’s Grade How the World’s Best Have Done in Majors Entering The Open

We are 75% through major championship season, and it hasn’t disappointed.

First, Rory McIlroy completed the Career Grand Slam at the Masters and won his first major in 10 years. Then, Scottie Scheffler finally won a non-Masters major at the PGA Championship. And last month, J.J. Spaun conquered the beast that is Oakmont Country Club for his first major—hell, it was his first top-20 in a major.

And now it’s time for The Open at Royal Portrush. A top-three week in professional golf, and it’s not three.

But before the battle for the Claret Jug gets underway on Thursday morning, Skratch’s Dan Rapaport and Ben Boskovich graded some of the world’s best on their major performances to this point of the season on this week’s Dan On Golf.
