It's been two weeks since the LPGA has graced our screens, but fear not, the best players in the women's game are back in action this week for the Kroger Queen City Championship at at TPC River's Bend just outside of Cincinnati.
This event got some serious upgrades, including a whopping $2 million purse, which is up from last year's first-place of $300,000.
For the second year in a row, TPC River's Bend will host this tournament. The Arnold Palmer design opened in 2001 and has previously hosted the Epson Tour, PGA Tour Champions, Korn Ferry Tour and the Women’s Big 10 Conference Championship in years past.
It will play to a par 72 that measures just shy of 6,900 yards. The course features two par 3s and two par 5s on both the front and back nines.
The money aside, this is the best field this tournament has ever seen. Eight of the top 10 and 16 of the top 20 players in the world will tee it up—including defending champ and world No.3 Lydia Ko, world No.1 Jeeno Thitikul, as well as fan favorites Nelly Korda and Lexi Thompson.
Tee times and groupings can be found here.
