Last week at the Truist Championship at Philadelphia Cricket Club, we had a chance to catch up with major champion and all-around likable guy Gary Woodland, so we put him through the rapid fire gauntlet.
What did we learn? Well, he doesn't consider himself tech savvy, never had a real job before becoming a professional golfer, loved Dr. Dre, and regrets the time he spent money on a Rolls Royce. But we also learned the one mulligan he'd take in his career, if he could.
When asked, Woodland quickly answered. "I was leading by one at Bay Hill, on the 71st hole, plugged it in the bunker and lost to Scottie."
You may remember the moment, but Woodland definitely does.
