It’s been a long time since I was nearly sick to my stomach watching golf. Sunday was one of those days.
Tommy Fleetwood had one hand on the Travelers Championship trophy with three holes to play before bogeys on Nos. 16 and 18 to fall to United States Ryder Cup Captain and New England local Keegan Bradley.
It was one of those moments that perfectly captured the jubilance of winning and the heartbreak of defeat—and this video took it to a whole new level.
CBS posted this to its TikTok page, and it shows the Englishman unable to watch Bradley’s winning putt on the 18th green. To be honest, it's tough to watch.
Fleetwood has now finished inside the top-10 42 times during his PGA TOUR career without putting a tally in the win column.
I’ve never wanted someone to win the Open more in my life than I do right now. Go get it, Tommy.
