On Monday, the final step of U.S. Open Qualifying got underway in England and Dallas, Texas. While some fans may recognize a few names who got through across the pond, several notable pros managed to earn their way to Shinnecock in the Lone Star State.
Tom Kim, Graeme McDowell, the 2010 U.S. Open champion at Pebble Beach, and Peter Uihlein are all headed to Long Island after surviving a 36-hole day at the Dallas Athletic Club.
The next Final Qualifying event is scheduled for May 25 at Hino Golf Club in Japan. After that, it’s Golf’s Longest Day on June 8.
