There isn't a tournament in golf that doesn’t come with pressure, but several times a year, it gets ramped to 11. Major championships, THE PLAYERS, the playoffs, the Ryder and Presidents Cups. But one seems to fall through the cracks for everyday golf fans: Q-School.
This event determines where so many guys are going to play the following year. Dreams are made and crushed simultaneously. If you’re into big moments and big emotion, it’s the perfect storm.
On Sunday, five men earned their way onto the PGA TOUR, two of whom did it for the very first time.
A.J. Ewart (medalist): First TOUR card, two career TOUR starts
Adam Svensson: 159 career TOUR starts
Alejandro Tosti: 52 career TOUR stars
Marcelo Rozo: First TOUR card, four career TOUR starts
Dylan Wu: 104 career TOUR starts
Wu stamped his ticket in dramatic fashion with a 2-for-1 playoff win against Ben Silverman on the first hole of extra time.
And while those five have locked up their dream for 2026, several notable names have a long road ahead.

Adam Hadwin: After finishing 139th in the FedExCup, the Canadian has no TOUR status for ‘26 and will play on the Korn Ferry Tour.
Cameron Champ: He has three TOUR wins to his name, but now faces a full season on the KFT.
Harry Higgs: It will be another season on the KFT for one of the TOUR’s fan-favorites.
Lanto Griffin: He’ll have conditional TOUR status after finishing 125th in the FedExCup.
Luke List: The 40-year-old with two TOUR wins will play full-time on the Korn Ferry Tour.
Camilo Villegas: He finished one shot out of the playoff at Final Stage and will now head back to the KFT.
Sam Ryder: He’ll have conditional TOUR status after finishing 123rd in the FedExCup.
Doug Ghim: He finished 113th in the FedExCup, so he’ll have conditional status in 2026.
