Tyrrell Hatton, are you kidding me? In those conditions at Augusta National—firm, fast, fiery—you hit every green in regulation?
That’s a ridiculous display of ball striking from the Englishman.
Sure, his day might have ended with a three-putt bogey at the last, but he made seven birdies after posting an opening-round 74, including this dart into the par-3 16th that, at the time, tied him for the lead.

Not only was it the lowest round of his career at the Masters, but he became just the third player since 1997 to hit every green in regulation.
His Masters resume isn’t anything to write home about, but over the last two seasons, he finished T-9 in 2024 and T-14 a year ago. If no one runs away with the Green Jacket, Hatton is in a prime position to make a run—especially since he finally has some good results under his belt.
