Happy Masters Lottery Day for Those Who Celebrate

At the end of July, when we all inevitably lose the Masters lottery, it’ll be a sad day. But today, June 1, it’s nothing but hope!

The application window for the 2027 Masters ticket lottery opened on Monday and will run through June 20. Once no more applications are accepted, the Masters and Augusta National will send out the results in less than two months.

If you’ve never applied for Masters tickets before, the process is very simple.

Head to Masters.com, create an account, navigate to the “Tickets” tab, confirm all your information is correct, and then select the days you would like to apply for and how many tickets you want. For practice round days (Monday-Wednesday), each applicant can request four tickets. For tournament days, however, you’re allowed just two.

As you can see, the Masters remains the best value in sports. All four tournament days are just $160, the first two practice round days are $125, and Par 3 Contest day (Wednesday) is a bit more at $150.

I’ve been entering this lottery since I was 18 and I’ve yet to win. But hey, who knows, maybe this is my year! (Probably not.)
