The LPGA Final Qualifying parade has most certainly been rained on. After bad weather on Thursday, the start of the tournament had been postponed an extra day and play would wrap up on Tuesday, December 9th.

Unfortunately, more bad weather hit the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail over the weekend, resulting in the decision to reduce final qualifying to 72 holes, instead of the original 90 so that play could be completed before the end of the day on Tuesday.

Additionally, there will be no cut made, and those who finish inside the top 25 and ties at the conclusion of play will earn their LPGA Tour cards for the 2026 season.

Sunday's third round was suspended twice due to bad weather in the morning and things resumed once again around 2:30 p.m. local time before having to be suspended once more due to darkness.

The Tour said in an update that the third round would get underway once more this Monday morning around 8 a.m. local time with the expectation to start the fourth round no earlier than 12:30. Players will stay in their same pairings/groupings from the third round.

As this marathon known as the Road to the LPGA continues, keep an eye on the name Gianna Clemente. The 17-year-old, who needed special permission from the commissioner just to compete, is currently inside that top-25 number.

Clemente climbed from T65 to T12 after a second round, bogey-free 5-under 67.
