One of my favorite broadcast features during Masters week are the streams that don’t have any announcers, any commentators, and it’s just you, the golf, and the golf course. It’s so good. But now I'm realizing there is a need for one featuring Jordan Spieth all year long. The guy is a psycho in the best way possible. Always talking to his ball, going over shots with Michael Greller, complaining about bad breaks. He’s just the best.
He and his looper added to their interaction highlight reel on Thursday morning at the Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio. While playing Muirfield Village’s par-5 fifth, Spieth and Greller were trying to figure out the best place to lay it up after the Texan’s tee shot found the right rough.
“This has to be hit so hard to go 115,” Spieth said.
“Let’s just hit it right here,” Greller said while pointing to the fairway just left of them.
“I don’t want to hit it right there,” Spieth replied. “Because I’m hitting good shots and they’re getting absolutely boned so far. So I can’t accept it.”
Folks, this is the #GoodStuff.
In the end, Spieth actually pulled off the shot and went on to make birdie. What else what you expect from the 13-time TOUR winner?
