When you watch Jeeno Thitikul play golf, it's hard to wrap your mind around the fact that she's only 22 years old. She's poised, unwavering, and looks a whole lot more like a 10-year vet than the young star who just wrapped her fourth season on the LPGA Tour topped with her second consecutive CME Group Tour Championship title.
But perhaps what remains the most impressive thing about Thitikul is her mentality. Her perspective on this game is a refreshing one and we can all take a page out of the best player in the world's book—things in life, especially winning, are fleeting, so you might as well just be yourself and enjoy it while you can.
It's impossible to not want to root for her. She just had the best season of her career (so far) and when asked about what she'll remember most about it she said, "food."
She may have laughed after she said it, but the girl was serious!
"I don't know. I remember the day that I came to Dallas after the Kroger [Championship]. I have the ice pack put in my eyes because I cried so bad. That's [what] I remember," Thitikul recalled during her winning presser at the CME Group Tour Championship.
"Whatever you had in your career doesn't define who you are and doesn't define who I am as a Jeeno, too. So it's pretty much what I have remember about last couple months."
That dooming four-putt was a moment in time for us watching at home, but was season altering for Jeeno. After a heartbreaking finish at Evian, losing in the playoff to Grace Kim, the Kroger Queen City Championship was poised to be her redemption—until it wasn't. It haunted her, but it didn't define her.
Thitikul took some time off, which she considered to be a "turning point" and the very next event she played in, she won.
It hasn't been a year of dominance, but rather one that has ebbed and flowed, where she found consistency in the right moments.

If you look back at Thitikul's 2025 season, you actually need to look even further back to August of 2024. Her reign of steadiness dates back to last year's FM Championship in Boston. That was the beginning of a string of consecutive top-10s, highlighted by playing every single round under par until March of 2025.
Insanity.
Thitikul's wraps this season with three wins, only one missed cut in 20 starts, and 11 other top-10 performances. She's the 2025 Rolex Player of the Year and Vare Trophy recipient for lowest scoring average this season—and she is now in possession of the record for lowest scoring average in LPGA history at 68.
Not to mention she just went back-to-back at CME, meaning in just two events, the 22-year-old has earned $8 million.
These last two seasons have been life-changing—but for Jeeno, she's just Jeeno.
"My life will still be the same, I guess. I need to hit the ball the same. I need to putt and chip still," She said. "All the wins that I have going, like anyone can take it from me."
I think I just been the same human being as you guys. I had to work. I has things to do. I had some happy moment; I had some sad moments. Just you sum up of describing a life."
The only left for the world No. 1 to accomplish is getting that long-awaited major. And with the way she's playing, it's not a question of "if" but "when".
