There has been more caddie turnover this year than any other season in recent memory. Hell, it feels like Collin Morikawa is on his 10th looper. But the latest one feels like a big one.
According to Golfweek’s Adam Schupak, Jake Knapp has enlisted Joe Greiner for this week’s FedEx St. Jude Championship, the first of three playoff events. Knapp currently sits in the No. 47 spot on the playoff point standings, which puts him into the field for the BMW Championship—the top 50 make it to Maryland—but he’ll need a good week in Memphis to keep it that way.

Greiner split with Max Homa earlier this season, and has since worked with Justin Thomas—the pair won the RBC Heritage in April—and Collin Morikawa.
If we were ranking duos by chill factor, Knapp and Greiner might be No. 1.
And there are a few other notable changes at the St. Jude, with Collin Morikawa hiring Mark Urbanek—Tony Finau’s old looper—and Finau going with Tim Tucker, Bryson DeChambeau’s old caddie, who most recently worked with Kurt Kitayama.
