Countless things have become synonymous with the Masters over the years. Green Jackets, Pimento Cheese sandwiches, Azaleas. But one of the biggest just closed its doors for good.
The Hooters in Augusta, Georgia, which is just a few minutes away from the gates of Magnolia Lane, has been shut down.
During Masters week, this restaurant would be flooded with golf fans looking to watch the tournament, eat some wings, and drink some beers. John Daly made it a habit of setting up camp in the parking lot and hanging around all week long. He’d sign for fans, take pictures with them, and sell some merch.
This closing comes after Hooters filed for bankruptcy in March.
