Bryson DeChambeau picked a pretty unique spot to dial in his game for this week’s LIV Golf event in Virginia and next week’s U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club.
The White House.
To be honest, the White House having a putting green and fairway in the lawn just feels right. What’s the harder place to get on, the WH or Augusta?
Anyway, Bryson will be the defending champion next week in Pittsburgh after he was gifted his second major championship by Rory McIlroy last year at Pinehurst.
In his two previous major starts this year, Bryson finished T-5 at the Masters and T-2 at the PGA Championship. Oakmont is going to be impossible, kinda like Winged Foot in 2020.
If you don’t remember, that’s where Bryson clipped off his first major. Maybe we’ll see him win a third U.S. Open in less than two weeks.
