FRISCO, TX. — This week's KPMG Women's PGA Championship is going to be sweltering with temps staying in the mid 90s for most of the week, but that hasn't kept players from getting some early prep in.

Among those who arrived early in Frisco—new LPGA Commissioner Craig Kessler—who is about a month out from his start date for his new gig. Kessler's attendance isn't a surprise, especially since Dallas and the PGA of America have been his home for the last couple of years.

Kessler's finishing out his days as the COO of the PGA of America, but it's nice to see him getting out there, chatting with players and scooping out the scene.

Players like Lydia Ko, Brooke Henderson and Auston Kim were spotted on the range on Monday at Fields Ranch fine-tuning their swings and working through minor tweaks.
This is the first women's major that Fields Ranch will host, and a great test before the men's PGA Championship touches down in 2027.
